Our journey begins with passion
With over forty years in the food business, my journey into crafting exquisite jams and jellies began alongside my mother. From owning a catering company after graduating from the New York Restaurant School to operating a specialty food store in Toronto, my passion for fine foods has always been at the forefront. Now located in the beautiful Barrie area, I continue this tradition, hand-picking berries from local Ontario farms whenever possible. Every single jar of Fields Fine Foods jam and jelly is homemade in small batches, ensuring meticulous care and sealed using the traditional hot water bath method for perfect sterilization and freshness. I am continuously searching for unique, often underappreciated berries that thrive in Ontario, transforming them into unusual and unforgettable jams and jellies. A prime example is our exquisite port jelly, crafted with Dona Antonia Reserva Tawny Ferreira Port from Portugal.
